Class Doubts - Module 4 - English Batch

Who doesn’t want things in their life to be managed or sorted in a very proficient manner which will result in increased productivity, better results, and achieving success early? Whether it’s managing work-life balance or balancing between the diet and routine workouts or balancing between income and expense. Similarly, in the stock market, managing individual investments so that one can maximize his earnings within a given time frame falls under portfolio management.

This practice of proficient portfolio management ensures that an individual can easily maximize his returns on the capital invested after mitigating the market risks. And this portfolio management strategy essentially involves slicking the right investment options for an individual investor’s profile based on age, income, time horizon, risk appetite, and monitoring their performance. It also depends on how that individual decides to diversify his portfolio keeping financial goals in mind, allocating assets as per risk, and achieving a profitable investment mix.

There are many more factors that one needs to check before building a portfolio which is explained in the fourth module of my course, “A Complete Course On Indian Stock Market”.

Module 4 explains how portfolio management is the art and science of selecting and managing investments in stocks & Securities. Active portfolio management requires one’s skill, research about the companies, decisions making on investments, and market forecasting. In active portfolio management, one needs to know how to allocate funds in various asset classes and how to diversify and rebalance the portfolio according to market conditions.

Whereas, passive portfolio management is simply following some standard indices like Nifty, and Sensex and blindly investing in them. One doesn't need to put his efforts into managing a passive portfolio; it just requires him to invest in companies that are listed in that following index in the same weightage that they represent the index.

Module 4 of my course contains all the topics related to Investment Portfolio Management to develop the best investment plan that will help avail customized solutions against investment-oriented problems. The chapters in module 4 are-

Class 35. Portfolio Management – Part 1.

Class 36. Portfolio Management – Part 2.

Class 37. Understanding active and passive portfolio management.

Once you understand the managerial process of effective portfolio management, you can be your own portfolio manager and can put into practice suitable strategies to ensure a sound investment portfolio to boost your earnings and improve the portfolio’s profitability to a great extent.
