Class 23:Qualitative Aspect of Fundamental Analysis (Part -2)

While most of the analysis or judgment we generally do with the quantitative approach. Whether it is runs scored by a player, total gross for a movie, followers of a celebrity, or grades of a student.

We have been trained to explore the numerical aspect of the equation. While it is important, the qualitative factors hold equal importance as these are the factors that play a critical part in the building of these quantitative aspects.

We hear a lot about factors like Competitive Advantage of a company, Business Model of a Company, Pricing Power of a company, Brand Reputation of a company, and some factors like Economies of Scale, Distribution channel of a company and many more.

If we get an idea about the terms by reading them, we are unable to relate them at company level and understand how these factors create a difference for a company.

Moreover, studying the management of a company is also an issue as we don’t have much clarity about how to proceed for it.

To make it easier for everyone, we have used examples of companies like IRCTC, Rajesh Exports, and many others to elaborate every concept for a detailed study of qualitative Analysis.
